JT’s World by E. Alan Fleischauer is a story that mainly follows the life of John Thurgood Thomas who is shortly referred to as JT. The book’s title is named after one of his properties. JT’s World is a large tract of land that he acquired to build an amusement park among other entertainment facilities and amenities. He recently came across a great fortune after discovering quite expensive jewelry abandoned in a cave in the wild. He has however been unlucky in the love sphere of his life, with him losing Annabelle, his lover, to her estranged husband.

JT travels a lot in the book. His path crosses with that of many characters, some of them good-hearted and others criminals. The book is set in the nineteenth century when times were quite wild. A lot of people owned guns while the police force was insignificant. There was a lot of crime and unrest and the state relied on bounties to catch criminals. JT had to fight a lot of them but he also met honorable men in his travels. He also met several suitors who were quite seriously interested in him. What follows is his journey and quest for his dreams and love.

There are a lot of things that I like about the book. First and foremost, I enjoyed the author’s style of writing and narration. I was glued to the book all through and enjoyed every bit of it. I could easily create a picture in my head of the incidents. Another thing that impressed me was the plot. Starting out, I was wary of the story as it had so many characters. I thought that it was rather excessive but as the story developed, I was awed by how beautifully the characters’ paths merged. It is also nice that JT is a very upright and generous man. The world needs more such characters.

I did not find even a single thing that I dislike in the book. The story was very interesting. In addition to that, there was a lot of enjoyable action going on that enhanced my reading experience. I did not find any errors in the book. It was exceptionally well-edited.

I rate this book a solid 4 out of 4 stars. The book was a very interesting read. I did not find anything negative about it. I think the story is told as best as it could. In short, the book is perfect. I recommend this book to anyone interested in tales about the Wild West or stories set in that era.
