Review of JTs World
JT's World by E. Alan Fleischauer is a western novel that focuses on the adventures of a cowboy. It illustrates the preparation for the grand opening of a park, several bounty hunters' fights, and the beginning of a romance. Also, the book presents themes such as family, reincarnation, murder, and love.
Briefly, the story focused on JT Thomas, a rich man who owned a complex called JT's World in Arizona. He was the ward of Madeline ever since her father, Marcus Payne, killed her mother. After Marcus was released from prison, he wanted to kill Madeline. However, Marcus made a mistake and killed the wrong person. The turn of events led to the postponement of the park's opening, and JT started his journey in Arizona.
There is nothing I disliked about this book. I loved the mix of western and mystery, and the fast-paced plot captivated me. I liked how E. Alan Fleischauer illustrated the cowboys' adventures and attempts to catch the wanted criminals for the bounty money. I enjoyed the suspenseful moments of their duels. For instance, I appreciated that the author managed to reproduce the moods and emotions of JT Thomas in every fight, and I was speechless at every confrontation and near-death situation in which he was involved.
Another positive aspect of this book is character development. I empathized with each character's past and sad memories and liked how the author emphasized their inner struggles and mindset. I loved how he built their particular characteristics, like the serif's babble and Buck's humor. My favorite character was JT because of his charming personality and moral values. For example, I appreciated his kindness towards Maria Woodworth, whom he saved from death. Also, I enjoyed reading about the interactions between JT and Jessica and loved how caring JT was towards her son, Theo.
I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because I liked that the compelling plot gradually revealed each character's motivations and backgrounds. I was intrigued by the plot twists and the peculiar characters' personalities. Also, JT's World was professionally edited. I discovered only four punctuation errors that did not affect my reading.
I recommend this book to people who enjoy reading about cowboys and love at first sight, especially fans of adventure and mystery novels. It is perfect for those who would like to read a story that begins with a fiasco but not those sensitive to violent scenes. Also, JT's World is suitable for teenagers and adults due to its profanity and light erotic content.
