In our society today, we come across a lot of life challenges. We experience a lot of suicide cases and depression nowadays owing to self-isolation and the inability to confide in someone. The importance of healthy relationships is often overlooked by people who are afraid of getting into the wrong relationship. The Reel Sisters by Michelle Cummings is a perfect example of the scenario given above. It explores different themes that will awe the minds of the readers.

The Arkansas River is a place of relief from life's challenges for the five amazing friends. Rose owned a cabin there. It was built by her and her husband during their first year of marriage. The cabin was the place where she hosted the girls when they came along for their fishing activities. She was the eldest among the other girls, and she was loved because of her selflessness. The girls were connected by their hobbies; they all had a career. The hobby had affected their careers positively, not only that their thinking and mentality had also changed. The bond between them got stronger as they gathered together, living behind everything for the other to have time for themselves. There was something peculiar about fly fishing that would interest you in this book. Grab a copy to find out.

This book was beyond my expectations. There were so many life lessons that this book taught. Exploring nature and also having time out with friends is not only for men. We see how the girls build positive relationships. The Amanda character got me. She was a character that contained mixed emotions. I was able to relate to the author through the themes she explored.

The author of this book did brilliant work on this book. The writing style was amazing. Also, the story came in order and there was no character conflict. Also, the book was geared toward a specific gender, and then the hobby used was tagged as a masculine activity. This demonstrates a lot. I loved the twists and suspense of this book.

However, I felt that the title of the book wasn't the main theme explored. It would have been best suited as a substitute. Also, the early chapters of this book weren't appealing. It seemed as though it was rushed. I also noticed a few errors. Based on these, I will rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.

The Reel Sisters is an amazing and impactful book that I would recommend to lovers of non-fiction. Those who love gender-based books would find it intriguing.
