Three Loves And Other Stories by Lata Gullapalli is a fictional novel that expresses the love between various couples of different storylines. Beginning with the story of a girl named Sia who always craved for the love and warmth of her family but never received it, decides to leave her home. In the travel to find a true partner who cares for her just like the way she cares for him, she found her three loves. It is followed by the story of Shruti and sekar, who were born and brought up in a Tamil Brahmin family of Madras. They interacted and found a spark between them that led to their marriage. They had a happy life as a married couple until sekar gets a job opportunity in a foreign country. Despite the physical distance between them, the way they manage to stay mentally connected and find the magic in their love make the story heartwarming. In spite of all the obstacles they faced, their love lasted.

The story of a guy who found his soulmate after she died has a completely different plot. Though he is already married he admires a girl who is also married and has two children. Later it gets to his notice that she is severely ill and could die early. After she passes away, he finds a wierd close connection between them and he starts to experience the presence of her spirit around him asking to help her family.

This novel had a lot of stories that had entirely different plots instead of a regular love story. Every story had lines in Hindi and other Indian languages along with its meaning below. This made the novel unique from the others. It made me feel more connected and relatable to the author as an Indian reader.

I didn't find any negative points in this novel. I found no errors in it. The novel could have had some illustrations in it to make the reading experience better. The cover of the book is not so attractive. Improvising the visual of the cover page would bring more readers to it. The name of the novel should be improvised too.

I rate this novel 4 out of 4 stars. I would totally recommend this book to all indian readers. This book feels personalised and relatable with the four-lined poem in indigenous language in the beginning of every story. Instead of a single long story, this novel contains a series of different short stories.
