It is relevant to mention that this book contains some sexual content and does have some religious content early in some chapters that might be offensive to sensitive readers.

Entanglement-Quantum and Otherwise by John K. Danenbarger walks us through the complex life journeys of eight characters whose paths intertwine in captivating family history. No crime drama would be complete without including some form of addiction, prostitution, kidnapping, various crimes, and even a murder or two. Entanglement-Quantum and Otherwise delivers just that.

The author begins by introducing us to the various characters. At first, it is confusing where they all tie in with each other, but we soon realize how their lives are tangled together. As we move through the chapters, we discover secrets spanning over decades as Geena tries to uncover the truth about her family. Initially, the author guides us to think the main character is Beth, but our perception changes when Joe keeps making appearances throughout the storyline. His character develops and becomes more dimensional. The story takes on another level of interest when Beth meets her partner Kevin.

There are a lot of positive things about this book. The author takes his time developing the plot with each chapter giving us more insight into the characters and their situations as he pulls together the storyline. His creative writing skills entice you as the reader to continue reading. You feel for the characters. The horror as Beth realizes she was left behind, sadness when Joe realizes his loneliness, and Geena's constant need to protect Davis. John K. Danenbarger has skillfully laid out the pieces of the puzzle throughout the book. With every piece of information, the entanglement of the characters becomes more apparent.

As for dislikes, during the first few chapters, a lot of time is spent trying to figure out exactly how all the characters fit into the story, which is both frustrating and exciting. I felt that his descriptions of scenes and characters were often too long. The extensive usage of adjectives on some pages makes the scene feel unnecessarily stretched out. The timeline is also a bit confusing.

I could not find any spelling or grammar errors as the book is exceptionally edited. Therefore, I will give this book a well-deserved rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

This book is suitable for a mature audience since it contains some erotic scenes and instances of foul language.
