Have you ever sat down and randomly come up with an idea to explore world? Yes, that’s what am talking about. Not only are they full grown men but leading normal lives of people their age with jobs, wives and children but also doing other “manly” activities every year. How do they you ask? Charlie, Sam, Daniel and Alec set out to tour different countries and engage in activities such as kayaking, biking and hiking just to name a few which can be considered as getaways full of adventures and exploration of the world. It is always entertaining to learn how each getaway idea was hatched and how they came to live it out. I sincerely like how they came up with the ideas impulsively and at the most random times and places.
Man mission is a book full of adventures and I would recommend it for anyone who is a fan of adventure but not humour. This book would not be suitable for young children on my opinion but it would be best for a person who likes short books that they can complete in a short time.
This book shows elements of close bonds of relationships in families and friendships as the guys thus serving as a great motivation in real life for a reader. For sure the book is a motivation to take risks and have fun which has one wanting to go out of their comfort zone. The characters also experience problems that we face everyday which makes it easy for the reader to relate to them.
We are always looking to be entertained whenever we choose a book to read and so it would be better if there was more thrill and suspense in the book which would keep us more on edge and wanting to read more and more. There are also instances where I would think the changing of times from past to present could be confusing if the reader is not attentive in their reading but it makes the reading experience better in some way. There was no other negative aspects other than this in the book.
I honestly would like to rate man mission as a 4 out of 4 stars worth book as the author, Eytan Uliel has a way with words that makes it easy to understand and it is well and professionally edited therefore ensuring no errors in the book. This book sure has a way of hooking a reader even without plot twists that we are always waiting for in every book.
