Finding one's self can be an adventure in itself. The road to self-discovery is filled with so many unexpected turns and twists. In Eytan Uliel's book, Man Mission, four friends travel around the world to see what it has to offer. The four college friends are Sam, Daniel, Alec, and the protagonist. They started an annual trip to different places in the world. The whole adventure lasted for fifteen years, which equates to fifteen missions in total. It's a story about personal growth, commitments, friendship, and adventure.

Man Mission is split into three sections, each with five missions. They went to six out of seven continents. They visited South Africa, Iceland, New Zealand, Japan, and many other places. They encountered different kinds of people and strange places, stayed in the most unfamiliar of places, ate foods they had never seen before, and sometimes even found themselves in crazy situations. The book is a fast-paced book filled with adventure, humour, and intriguing details. It captures their transition into men. From college, some got married, built careers, and became fathers. It also showed us their daily struggles in their family and relationships. This really helped me to realise the importance of communication in a relationship. That is, if we want one that will last the test of time.

There were many things I liked in this book. For one, the addition of vital stats at the end of each chapter. It kind of acted like a summary of the chapter. The author also included memorable quotes at the beginning of each chapter. One of the quotes was from the Bible, while the other was from some other person. I also loved the use of humor in the book. It added something extra to it. The book was amusing, amazing, and fun to read, to say the least.

I didn't dislike anything about the book. The book was easy to follow and the transitions were top-notch. The style of writing was descriptive, energetic, simple, and fun. I didn't notice any grammatical errors in the book. With all this said, I would rate the book four out of four stars

I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in spicing up their friendship. Anyone interested in adventures and exploring the world will definitely find this book a good read. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone who cannot tolerate swearing and vulgar language, as it was used in the book. In all, it's a good read.
