Review of JTs World
JT Thomas has led quite an adventurous life. He decided to build a recreational center. On opening day, a horrendous crime took place. An employee was killed in the bowling alley. A couple of hours later, two other employees were killed. Will JT still be able to open his business after these events? JT decided to take a break and go on a journey with his ranch hands to perform other businesses. This journey caused him to have a wild adventure and find love again.
What I liked most about this book was how complex the characters were. Each character got a chapter or part of a chapter for themselves and the reader is given background information on each character. Every bad person in the book has a story that is quite relatable and explains what has caused them to turn to a life of crime. The plot of the story was well-written and seemed to be well-thought-out. It contained some really exciting gun scenes, although some of them were gruesome. I liked how action-packed the author made the book. I've never really found cowboy stories to be interesting until I read this book. While the book is filled with action, the author took time to create a love-life for JT, adding a soft touch to all the gritty moments.
I've read other books by the author, and they have never disappointed me. His talent for storytelling is commendable. I did not find anything to dislike about this book. It contained the right amount of suspense and drama. This is the fifth book in the series and while I haven't read the other books, I did not feel like I was missing any important details. The author gradually included bits and pieces of information from the previous books in the series. I like that this book can be read as a standalone.
JTs World by E. Alan Fleischauer no doubt deserves a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. It was professionally edited with only a few typing errors. I liked Jessica's story most of all. Her husband had passed away and when she went to his funeral, she left her baby with a hired nanny. Upon returning, she realized that the nanny had run off with her son. Her story was a touching one. By the end of the book, each character's story was wrapped up and no loose ends were left.
I would recommend this book to persons who enjoy reading action-packed cowboy stories. This one won't disappoint you. I would also recommend it to persons who enjoy reading a suspenseful and dramatic book. In conclusion, this was the best book I've read in a while, and I think it contained the right amount of action from the onset of the book to grab a reader's attention.
