Have you ever contemplated ditching your daily routine and traveling across the continent with your friends at least once a year? Eytan Uliel's novel, Man Mission, is a non-fiction narrative about four groups of friends who decided to take a brief holiday to travel around the world. The plot revolves around the writer and his three best friends, Alec, Sam, and Daniel, as they travel to many fascinating locations and engage in various leisure activities, such as hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and many more. These three men, as well as the author, have faced a number of challenges, prompting them to form the Man Mission, where they can relieve their problems. The Man Mission lasted over fifteen years, and the trips they took over the years included South Africa, Thailand, New Zealand, and Hawaii. By reading this book, we learn about the problems these men face as well as the experiences they have had while traveling around the world.

I've never visited any country, but reading this book transports me to many parts of the world. I learned about many countries' traditions, cultures, exotic food, and sporting activities. The use of flashbacks is another feature of the novel that fascinates me. Every flashback in the text looks into the characters' backgrounds. The way the flashback is used adds suspense to the plot. Most readers, including myself, will be anxious to learn more about the characters' lives as the story progresses back to the present event. I also love the genre of the story, which includes adventures, biography, family, sports, and comedy.

I didn't like how the writer and his buddies avoided dealing with their difficulties and didn't confront them. This simply does not make sense, because even if they run away from their troubles by touring the world, they will eventually return to face them. This made me ponder if taking a brief vacation could help with family, marriage, and career problems.

Overall, I enjoyed the travel experiences of the four major characters as well as the flashbacks in the novel. The negative side I earlier mentioned won't make me give this book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. The book is exceptionally well-edited since there are no grammatical or typographical errors.

There is sexual content in the text, as well as profanity. Anyone who loves adventure stories, particularly those about the exploration of various parts of the world, should read this book.
