ALWAYS BEFORE ME

The book Always Before Me - A Story Of Mercy And Salvation is a well structured novel about some characters on a journey to seeking redemption. The main characters have their unique attributes of what was simulacrum to the adversities of Jesus Christ. I must say that the author “John Servant” had carefully made this book for the consumption of mankind, to remind us that it is never too late to turn to God even when it appears really late. Just like the character Mathew Ryan “Matt” in the book whom had given up all hope of redemption and salvation because of his past sins only to become the next “chosen one” to further propagate the works of Father Paul and Father Anthony. Indeed, God works in mysterious ways. It goes on to show the every day to day spiritual challenges many individuals face today and how they can still come out clean by sincerely and divinely amending their ways with the Creator.

I like the fact that the author made the whole salvation story come natural rather than been coerced. Furthermore, John Servant’s portrayal of each character matches an ideal illustration of what is mandated of a priest, the cops, the prosecutor and even the prison yard system. I find the book very inspirational and divinely concocted as I could picture the whole story playing on my mind like I was watching it on a screen.

Always Before Me was well edited as I could only spot two or three little errors which made reading the book hitch free and fun. At a point I forgot the time to take medication for the dysentery I had. Yeah, that interesting.

Though, I found nothing really to dislike about the book and that is why I have made the decision to give it a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. I am keeping one of the stars because I am charging the author of this book to come up with another masterpiece that will cut across all the beliefs across the world.

I wish to recommend this book for all libraries, homes, schools, offices, institutions etc. and also to serve as a gift to individuals in their spiritual trying times. A lot of instances in the book can be of a reference point to people who find it difficult to backtrack their way back to God.
