The book That Guy What Kill Topsy by Peter Wood Cotterhill is a book comprising of sixteen different short stories. It is an anthology. It is written in multiple perspectives as the perspectives change every story. It is narrated form the first-person point of view.

In the book, we start with the story of That Guy What Kill Topsy. It goes with his perspective and how his life has changed. Moving on we have the story of a young entrepreneur, Flossie and how she goes on to expand her businesses. She started very different types of businesses and was successful. We learn about how even though each start-up is not related, she tries to not only start it but also learn about almost every aspect possible regarding the same. We see a dying man caught in a bombing. We also see stories ranging from England to Zimbabwe. Also, the author includes a novella called “I love Rhinos”.

What I liked about the book was that it was a variety of short stories ranging in different regions. You see stories narrated in the UK, some in the US and even some in Zimbabwe. I loved reading the perspectives of the characters. It was good read overall. The stories were short and sweet, and it was a quick read.

What I did not like about this book was that I did not know what to feel at end of many stories. Some stories felt very incomplete. Majority of the stories were a snippet from someone’s life, but it did not give me a sense of completion. As the stories continued most of them did not make sense to me. I hoped I would have liked the book, but it was not what I expected it to be. The stories either had a weird ending or something about it that didn’t sit well with me.

I would rate this book a 2 out of 4 stars. The reason for a two-star rating is that there were some stories that I really enjoyed, like the story about the woman entrepreneur. The book had sixteen short stories in it. It was a good book, but it wasn’t something I liked.

I would recommend this book to people who like short stories. This book has multiple perspectives in it. This book has instances of profanity in them. I found no instances of sexual content. Trigger warning: this book deals with death, other strong feelings, and loss of loved one.
