Are you looking for a book with short stories? Are you interested to know about various kinds of people in our society? The book V D Anthology is a collection of fictional short stories written by various writers. All the protagonists are enduring troubles in the own stories.

The ninth story is ‘Rendition Of A Life, Transposed’ was written by Eliot Bryter in which the protagonist gets to know that he is slowly losing his sight. The author has mentioned the difficulties and use of other senses to feel the surroundings after he loses his sight. In number tenth, there is a poem named ‘Saudades’ written by Calah Singleton. The poem is about a girl in a deep emotional state thinking about the nostalgic moments of the person she loves.
The eleventh story is ‘The North Circular Book Of The Dead’ written by David Rogers, which is about a man named Stanton who is on a mission to deliver a package but in the end, he finds himself in the middle of nowhere. The twelfth story ‘Herman Melville Cinderella’ written by Alexandra Liedinger is about a soldier named Ishmael. He works under the prince from the famous story “Cinderella”. He narrates a soldier's perspective about the difficulties they suffered to find Cinderella. In number thirteen, there are four poems written by Robert Hennebry. The poet writes four poems about love, mental issues, and political-economical difference in society.
The book has a variety of stories including love, humor, miserable conditions, aspirations, and memories. So the reader can experience a blend of various aspects of emotion. Every story in this book has its own struggle and how the protagonist deals with it. This is a good book to read and know about the variety of people and their stories. Some stories are easy to read and understand. Since the book is divided into parts, it is good for slow reading.
On the other hand, some stories are tough to understand due to difficult words and grammar. Few stories are just an incident penned as fiction, so it is complicated to understand the storyline. Several stories maybe not so relatable to the readings but the reader can be imaginative.
I rate this book 2 out of 4 stars. The book has some positive points and some negative points. The reader won't regret reading it but few parts will be difficult to read and understand. The two stars are for some stories with good rumors and stunning descriptions of social difference. I took 2 stars because of the difficult words and some complex storyline.
I recommend this book to prominent readers who want to do a light reading. Beginners can also try reading this book to increase their vocabulary.
