Let us refresh our weary mind because of the heavy burdens in this world with William E. Combs' Who Told You That You Were Naked? A Refreshing Reexamination in the Garden Of Eden. William intricate this book with faith, righteousness and hope. He included a deeper discussion of sin based in the Garden of Eden. This book inspired from a sermon of William; he is a retired Presbyterian Minister who loves to paint for indulging his member's relationship with God.

William digs deeper on Adam and Eve's events in the Garden of Eden. Adam named all animals in the Garden of Eden, but no suitable companion for him. God made a woman out of Adam's ribs as Adam fall into a deep sleep. Adam called the woman "Eve" since she was the mother of all living.

One gorgeous day, Eve was deceived by a serpent to eat the forbidden fruit of God in the middle of the garden. This tree called the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" that probably looks brilliant above all the tree. Adam also eats the fruit given by Eve that made them vanish in the Garden of Eden later. Sin enters through the disobedience of the first couple on earth that even until now people suffer the consequence. Why did God put the forbidden tree when God already knows the things that are yet to come? Will God saves His beloved people? How?

William provides supporting verses on sin discussion as he elaborated each character. I appreciate William's thorough discussion of God's redemption as the main point of the book. He also gives a vivid idea on "nakedness" which is the main alibi of Adam when he was hiding from God.

This book serves as a reminder of "little faith" as well; faith matters either you are a Christian believer or not. There is a summary of every chapter with verses excellent for meditation and questions to think about for a lifetime. I disagree when the ewe was chased by a lioness.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars, and I heartily recommend Who Told You That You Were Naked? A Refreshing Reexaminations in the Garden Of Eden to all Evangelical religious groups. The book is well edited because the errors were corrected as I purchased this book 2 years ago. The topic flows well with supporting verses good for studying reference suited to all Pastors, church leaders and layman. Christian believers may enjoy flicking through this book as a guide in their Christian journey.

This is my first book in this site. I agree on your "little faith" observation. Really a nice book.

Your review is crisp and to the point! You have clearly mentioned your likes and dislikes but I feel lost in your review in certain places, mainly due to my partial ignorance about Christianity and the fact that certain sentences are not phrased clearly and I'm not sure what it means.

Other than that, a great review and thank you for the efforts you have put into this review! :)
