Have you ever wondered why there are young teens in this world that seem to not care about their lives, committing crimes, and just living a dark life? Have you ever wondered what causes them to live such lives? Could it be because of circumstances and happenings in their past?
Or maybe you are a reader that understands exactly how a young teen feels in his dark world. Maybe you are one of the people on this earth that has had a difficult life since your younger years and think others will not understand if you tell them.
Whatever may be the case, this A Bloody Bookis for you. May it open your eyes to see the world in a different way through the eyes of a young teen who does not care anymore.
A Bloody Book written by Chris Bowen is a book on part of the life of a young teenager by the name of Maxx. It is written as if Maxx wrote it himself, revealing things of the past that brought him to the way he lived at the present where he does not care anymore about anything.
Young Maxx is a teenager that struggles in school. He and other classmates have been put in a classroom where they are seen as the stupid students, as if there is no hope for them. Teachers don't want them. Nobody cares for them. Everybody seems to think they will amount to nothing.
Until one day... A teacher arrives. Mr. Foxx. A teacher that seems stupid enough to care about each and everyone one of the students. A teacher who makes them face their past and the reasons why they are the way they are in the present. A teacher that does not accept "stupid" students. A teacher that tries to drive away the pain and darkness so that light will once again give hope the the teenagers.
Because of that, the story of the life of a younger Maxx in his broken and crazy home is revealed. It reveals the things that happened to Maxx to make him stop caring about life. It reveals how a broken and sad home can bring a young 9 year-old to commit a crime and make him shut down to where caring is not part of his life.
This book was hard to read. It is hard to read about children who come from broken and dark homes. It is hard not to cry for them. Yet, it is important to know that these situations exist. It is important to know, so that when you meet a young person in a situation like the one Maxx is in, you can care for that young individual and you can be a "Mr Foxx" for that teen.
I would recommend young adults, parents, teachers, and people who deal with teens on a daily basis to read this book. It is worth reading. It will bring you to tears to see all the pain that Maxx has gone through. It will also give you a heart for the broken young people in your lives.
I give this book a rating of 3 out of 4. It is written in an interesting way, however with some paragraph spacing errors.
