The Advent of Time presents the argument that the material universe that we perceive did not exist before the biblical Adam and Eve sampled the fruit from the forbidden tree of good and evil. Time did not progress linearly; it simply was. The Original Sin started the clock running. Having faith in this concept is the basis on which the entire book rests. From here, the author Indignus Servus argues that the Abrahamic God is truly all-powerful, wise, just, and loving; if the eternal soul makes a poor choice at the moment of conception, human suffering is the inevitable result. Every sinful or evil act is one of free will and a rejection of His love. The punishment is death. Faith in God's love is the only means of salvation from eternal torment.

Servus's arguments are well-written and supported by numerous citations. How convincing they are is up to the reader to judge. The conclusions require acceptance of the Christian Bible as factual and frequently refer to the Catholic Catechism. The book addresses some of the most common questions about Christian beliefs in an organized and logical format. If the reader agrees with the answers, they may find themselves nodding and thinking, "That makes sense." If the reader does not, they might argue with each chapter. The book is aimed squarely at those questioning their faith due to the state of the world and their personal circumstances. It is suitable for all ages, though younger readers may find it more challenging to comprehend.

The editing of The Advent of Time is superb. I found no noticeable grammar or spelling errors, a highly unusual case. It is relatively short and is moderately easy to read. Agreement with the book's premises is not necessary, though it does help. I can recommend it and rate it five out of five stars.
