In her young life, 19 year old Anna Walters-Simmons has suffered one life altering disappointment after another. Because of past misfortunes and present tribulations that continue to haunt her, she is on the brink of despair and desperately needs a savior to help her battle the despondency that threatens to engulf her, leaving her desolate and hopeless.
Rafael Luis Brown recognizes the deep pain and agony he sees in Anna's eyes as a mirror of his own soul crushing torment. He wants to help her through the anguish and protect her from the troubles that continue to follow her, but he must ignore his own suffering long enough to rescue her. They find comfort, and even love, in each other's arms as they face their demons and fight their battles together.
What I appreciate most about Heartaches-Bad Boy Vibes is that it has a very creative and eventful plot which contains incidents that tragically could and unfortunately do happen in everyday life to unsuspecting people.
What I do not like about Heartaches-Bad Boy Vibes is the authors excessive use of foul language which kept me from being able to fully enjoy reading it. Also, the author has a tendency to repeat certain words and phrases throughout the book. Plus, I do not care for the ending of the book because there is no resolution, no completion to the events that are written within the story.
I rate this book a 2 out of 4 stars due to the fact that it does contain a lot of foul language within the script and I noticed several typographical and grammar errors. For example, a sentence on page 4 contains the word 'appoint' but correctly written it should say 'a point'. Also on page 4, a sentence contains the phrase "seeking refuge from a father" but correctly, for what I believe the author is trying to say, it should be written "seeking refuge with a father." I noticed other mistakes that could have been easily corrected with a little proof reading. I did not rate this book a 3 because of the language and errors that are evident and the fact that I felt, while reading the book, that it must have been the author's first attempt at writing a book. I felt that the way the book was written was rather amiturish. I did not rate this book a 1 because it does have it's merits in having a very creative and realistic plot.
I believe people who enjoy a very action packed story with a lot of steamy sexual content will get the most enjoyment from this book. I do not feel this book will be popular in the majority of the population because of the contents. I am afraid people who are more conservative or who have religious aspersions will be offended.
