The book though being named So-so is not so-so but is rather very much more than that. The author convinced me in the prologue by mentioning the stream of consciousness. The very modern concept of literature and how most modern literature is a product of this thought. The author thought that your thoughts when comes to one should be embraced in any form and need not be structured to fit into one single rhyme.

The book is divided into three forms: prose, poetry, and short story. The prose parts are very beautifully crafted. They don't give away too much but just enough for the reader to ponder over. The prose part is very intellectual, full of the beauties of literature, and just the right size. The author also mentions the date when he came across this thought or stream of consciousness. The prose though initiating deep thoughts, is written in a very simple everyday language, and the titles are also quirky but relevant.

There are no typos in the book.

The prose is followed by poems. The poems do not follow any kind of rhyme scheme or structural preference. The author according to my thoughts, has kept it as raw and original as possible, which really brings out the feelings of the poem. One thing about the poems that I think was unique was the fact that he used two titles for a poem using a slash. As if he is giving his readers the opportunity to choose whichever title they feel better suited. Lastly, come the short story section of the book. The raw reflections that he shows on life and all its other aspects are very insightful.

There are some negative aspects of the book. For some readers, the fact that it is a very unconventional book might be bothering. The book is a collection of everything and not something specific might seem haphazard and might label the author as not a very enthusiastic person who could not fit his writing into only one particular form.

I give the book a 4 out of 5 rating. The book explores the themes of depression, mental health and personal growth. The book's unconventional approach is what sets it apart from others.
