The MISOGI Method by Jody B. Miller explained that MISOGI is a powerful practice that originated in Japan as an ancient purification ritual. MISOGI is an ancient practice that is done by standing under cold waterfalls to purify the mind and body. The author described MISOGI as more than just an old ritual; it is about finding solutions to challenges in the path of life that make you happy and improve your confidence.

The book advises readers to find their MISOGI in the things they think are impossible, but achieving them will help you grow and become better. The author provides numerous stories and examples of how different people have accomplished their MISOGI.
This can mean acquiring a new skill, tackling a daunting project, or even something as simple as speaking up more in class. The idea is that each person’s MISOGI is unique and should match their personal goals and fears. What is outstanding in this book is that the author doesn’t just talk about big, scary challenges but shows that even small steps can have a big impact.

I liked how the author explained everything in a way that made it feel like anyone could try the MISOGI method. The author makes the idea less difficult and more about finding your way to grow. For example, instead of focusing on the cold waterfall tradition, the author emphasizes creating your version of MISOGI that suits your lifestyle rather than standing on the waterfall ordeal. This story brings inspiration and a sense of hope in whatever situations they find themselves in.
There was nothing I disliked about this book. The author’s writing is simple to follow and uses a friendly tone. The book is well edited, with no errors.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it is simple to understand and has relatable stories that inspire readers for personal growth. I would highly recommend it to readers who are looking for a powerful way to grow, gain confidence, and find new meaning in their lives.
