Working from Home Making it Work for You, Thomas Engblom's self-help book discusses working from home and its pros and cons for employees as well as the company. Prior to the global pandemic caused by the Corona virus, remote working was a practice that was rarely used and was limited to senior executives in organizations. However, as a result of the pandemic, all employees within the organization were forced to work remotely, including the top executives.

This book demonstrates the benefits and drawbacks of working remotely. Some benefits mentioned by the author include reduced work conflicts, which I agree with because I don't think many employees will argue or fight with one another if they are not in the same location. It also helps the organization save money on transportation costs, which benefits the employees because neither the company nor the workers will have to pay as much for gas or transportation fees. Adaptable timetable. Working from home has many benefits, but it also has drawbacks, such as being distracted by kids or household chores, a lack of social interaction among coworkers, and the possibility of awkwardness for some employees due to supervisory observation. It may sound strange, but there is logic behind it. Some people find it uncomfortable to work in public. I would strongly advise you to read this book if you want to start working remotely for your business or yourself. It does offer a wealth of information about working from home. It also includes several tactics, such as the Totally Outstanding Mindset (TOM) strategy. The author explains all of them in the book, which I found to be quite beneficial.

I give this book five out of five stars since it's a really fascinating read with a ton of insightful lessons to share and learn. Reading this book and picking the author's brain was enjoyable. I didn't find anything about this book that I disliked, just one borderline profanity. This book was expertly edited, as seen by the lack of obvious mistakes that I noticed while reading it. You won't regret it if you decide to read this book.
