Scott Laurence Mocha’s book A Row with Two Chairs is an uplifting and inspirational story. It shows how a man finds faith and uses it to guide himself through redemption. The author bravely recounts his life by pulling back the curtain on his life and sharing how he was once driven by drugs and how it took him to overdose and end up in a church to find hope and a path leading him to redemption. He reflects on his personal journey, highlighting how being accepted by Jesus and the Christian faith helped shape his future. If this grips you, and you want to read more, this book is for you.

In this book, the author, Mocha, describes how he reached rock bottom and found himself in a church, where he started his path to redemption and found solace in God. This book is so inspiring that it has the potential to show others who have been through something similar that there is hope, and spiritually, God does not judge. Also hidden in this is the message that there is always time for a second chance in life, and I think this is a really important lesson to be learnt for those who feel the only thing for them is addiction. This book shows the author's journey, not just spiritually, but also his personal goal. The one question we must ask ourselves, though, is: Why does God protect and guide us into finding our better selves? I believe in one thing, and I think it is quite relevant to the book and author, and that is that only God can judge us.

There are many positive attributes to this book. For example, the language in this book is precise and easy to comprehend. This helps audiences who are basic readers to enjoy their reading. Furthermore, there are no errors in this book, neither typographical nor grammatical. I was able to enjoy my reading of the book and take in the emotional effects of the book. The fact that there are no errors means it is edited to a professional standard. It is clear that the author is a great writer, as his writing was emotional and saddening. I was able to feel the feelings he must have felt as he wrote this book, as well as go through the many experiences he had had throughout the hard times of his life. I take my hat off to this author for finding his own path and creating himself a better future. Furthermore, I thank the author for providing us with his emotional backstory and wish him every success in his new-found path post-addiction.

In relation to negative aspects, there is nothing to dislike. I felt every emotion as I narrated myself through this book. The fact that the book had no errors and was a fine example of someone battling addiction means that I cannot find anything to criticise.

In conclusion, I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. I loved everything about this book. It was emotionally written, detailing how someone who was addicted found solace in God and his church and used this to turn his life around. I believe that this book can inspire other individuals in similar situations to make changes and improve their lives. I recommend this book for individuals who are going through a rough patch. Also, those who are religious may find this book interesting and useful.
