The Unfakeable Code by Tony J. Selimi focuses on helping the reader reach a state of self-actualization which will help them achieve their full potential in different areas of their lives and take control of it.

The book offers great insights into the psychology of human beings and provides useful actionable tools at the end of each chapter. Throughout the book, Tony highlights how many of us, in order to survive in this world, build up different personas. These outward personas can help us only to an extent to achieve our goals in life, after which they become a cause of hindrance when we want to achieve more for ourselves and work towards those goals.

We develop this "fakable" personality of sorts that hurts our personal, professional and even spiritual lives. The book focuses on helping the reader break free from this untrue self by applying five principles focusing on self-awareness, work ethics, emotional intelligence, and romantic relationships to reach their true unfakeable selves.

As far as a self-help book goes, this book does offer some well-thought-out questions after each chapter to help the reader apply the principles in their own lives. Once the questions are answered the reader will feel more self-aware of themselves and their responses to things in life and can then make better decisions towards reaching their full potential in a more holistic and 360 way.

The writing style is conversational and easy to read with anecdotes to help us understand how each principle can be helpful in real-life situations.

The one thing that I found a little off-putting was that for the reader to understand some of the concepts mentioned briefly in the book one will have to buy previous books written by the author and go through them to have a better understanding of those. I would rate this book a 4 out of 5 on the whole.

All in all a good read and would be helpful for anyone who is on a journey towards self-discovery and growth.
