Play Golf Better Faster: The Classic Guide to Optimising Your Performance and Building Your Best Fast" by Kalliope Barlis aims on improving golf performance efficiency for both novice and seasoned golfers. The author talks about mental conditions and fitness. To be a pro in the golf industry, one needs to be mentally stable, as your thoughts drive how you do things and behave. The author encourages one to have a positive mindset to play golf and be successful. She also encourages people to have an exercise routine to have a healthy and physically fit body. She believes that a healthy body contributes to a healthy mind, and a healthy mind is a great requirement for golfers. The author introduces us to a technique of setting goals that are clear and achievable. She mentions ways to track progress and adjust training plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement, as this approach helps golfers and those aspiring to be golfers stay motivated and see tangible results. Barlis discusses strategies for better decision-making during the play; she mentions startegies such as shot collection and understanding course layout. She also mentions techniques for improving golf skills; she covers fundamental swing mechanics, stance, and posture, and she advises the readers on how to fine-tune these elements to improve consistency and power so as to be a successful golfer. The author also talks about neurolinguistic programming techniques to help golfers or people aspiring to be golfers to reframe their mindset, introduce positive patterns in their game, and stop the bad habits and embrace the good ones. The author did a great job making golfing simple, and everyone who would put what she has discussed in the book can be successful. I like the way she's emphasising a positive mindset, as a negative mindset kills a lot of visions. Be positive towards everything you're for, and you'll prosper. The book was practically well edited; I did not find any errors or typos. I did not find anything to dislike about the book; the book is amazing and educational. So I have decided to rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Honestly, I did find any reason to rate it lower. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn about golf and to those aspiring to improve on their skills and performance in golfing.
