I chose to read and review Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids by Jemima Paul and Arvind Paul because the title of the book and the style in which it is written, reminded me that I enjoyed reading the Bible for Kids as a child and I wanted to recreate that feeling now as an adult. I was not wrong in thinking so, because the book is written simply and in a wholesome way and is very well suited for both children and adults who would like to be transported back to that innocent age- if only while reading the book.

Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids succeeds in telling a well-known story in a soothing, yet educational way. The book is written in a non- judgmental way, portraying Heaven, Hell and the Afterlife as seen from a child´s perspective.

I would recommend Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids to parents who would like to encourage their children to read more and to educate themselves on Christianity and the notion of Heaven and Hell, but also for people who like children´s books because it reminds them of the wholesomeness and innocence of childhood.

I would rate Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids a 3 out of 4, due to great editing and the nice flow the story has. What I found negative about the book is that it could have potentially been longer, the authors could have gone into more personal detail about the experiences the main character had. I would enjoy reading about potential meetings she had and the potential conversations she could have had in Heaven, the book was too general for me in this regard. I also believe that this would be useful for children to read in order to understand and accept some notions about the Afterlife.

The positive aspects of the book are that it is well adapted to children, is a fun read and could motivate children to explore this topic further. Another thing I found positive about the book, is that the authors wrote the characters of the parents as supportive and trying to motivate their children.

As stated, I would rate the book 3 out of 4 due to the negative aspects I mentioned earlier, but it is still a fun and useful book.
