Alpha Buddies Land by Donna Marie Rink is an interesting and imaginative children's book. It is a fun and sweet children's book with illustrations that are appealing to the young ones. The author takes us through the 26 alphabets, using different characters in each. It is also accompanied by images that are of different colours, making the book attractive to the readers. The images are an interpretation of whatever is written in words, hence helping the children to better understand the book.

The author's use of alliteration makes reading this book even more interesting. This also helps in better understanding. The book also helps equip the readers with new vocabulary. The book itself is short enough to keep the attention span of the young audience. I also like the fact that the images come before the explanation, as it helps children use their imagination to generate words based on whatever they are able to see in the pictures.

The author does good work in choosing the characters. Each character interacts with another character with a name that starts with the same letters as itself. The use of different colours in the pictures also makes it memorable. The pet names used for the characters are also realistic, making the book more fun as children are able to relate to whatever is being explained.

I would rate the book 5 out of 5. It is well edited, as I found no typing errors. There is nothing I hate about the book. The book has a good combination of written words and pictures, making it enjoyable to read. The use of rhyming words also helps the children recall the alphabets. I can exhort the book to a younger age of between 6 and 12 years. The book uses simple language with the addition of new vocabulary, making it easy to read. For your children who are still learning new words, this is the perfect book for them.
