Review of God is Good by Margaret Liu Collins

In this eye-opening memoir, Margaret Liu Collins gives us hope and teaches us that God is there for us in the darkest of times as well as our best days. She quotes a lot of scripture that provides answers to our questions. There are also lessons to be learned from God is Good. Margaret teaches us these lessons by telling us stories of her own life and experiences of times when she was in dark places or when she did not listen to what God was telling her, and she tells us about the wonderful blessings God provided her when she did listen to Him.

The positive things I found in this book were definitely the Hope you are provided with. As a Christian, I sometimes doubt whether my prayers are heard, but reading this book put things into perspective and opened my eyes to things that I might have to do differently. There are also little comic pictures with scripture underneath that I enjoyed. I liked that Margaret quoted scriptures throughout the book so that you can go back to the Bible and reread them because so many times when we are reading the Bible we only read things that we want to read, or our eyes catch the bits that tell us the things we want to hear or that we don’t want to hear.

Something I did not enjoy while reading was that in some places there are no spaces between words which disrupts one's reading a little and can be confusing at times.

I rate God is Good 4 out of 5 stars because it was a very good book, that I enjoyed and that taught me lessons I needed to learn, I subtracted a star because of the instances where there were no spaces between words that distracted me from the reading experience.

I would recommend this book to Christian people who might need hope or who sometimes think they are not faithful enough and also to people who might be going through a tough time and need an extra boost.
