Fireproof Happiness by Dr. Randy Ross helps readers apply hope in real-life situations to make a person’s life better and happier at the same time. The author provides us with the practical ways in which one can put hope into practice so as to impact his life. He helps readers focus on themselves to provide the best versions of themselves and build what they desire. He also helps illustrate how to achieve happiness, which he does by educating us on the principles and applications suggested to elevate hope and happiness.
The author helps us define hope and the difference between hope and optimism. With the storyline focused on the COVID-19 pandemic era, the author helps us see how hope can help you see life from a different perspective. When one is provided with a challenge in life, how to deal with it may be different. Will it help you see an opportunity in life, or will you fold when presented with a challenge? How do you adapt to a certain situation? Hope helps you be optimistic that everything is possible in life.
The author uses real-life examples to help bring out his points easily. He also uses simple English and straightforward points, making the book easily readable by smaller age groups. The author also uses a low sexual content level with no use of non-borderline profanity. I would rate the book 4 out of 5. It is well edited, as I found no typing errors. However, I felt like the book was more repetitive with the short quotes given since they were also part of what had already been stated in the paragraphs. Otherwise, there is nothing else I dislike about the book, and I will definitely read more of the same content now so as to know more about how to find happiness in hope. I can recommend the book to anyone who wants to find happiness and anyone who wants to know the true meaning of hope and how to use it to achieve a better life.
