"My Trip to Adele" by Ahmad Alyaseer and Rana Alyaseer is a collection of three stories, all connected by their shared love for Adele's music. The first tale follows Elias, a Moroccan man living in Italy, on his quest to reunite with his lost love, Malika. He suspects dark forces behind their parting. Malika, a Moroccan with dreams of mastering English and escaping the city, receives an Adele album as a gift to aid her language-learning journey.

The second tale takes place in Las Vegas and follows the journey of two surgeons, Yaser and Mariam, as they work to mend their relationship despite facing obstacles and differences in opinions. In a bid to revive their marriage, they opt to recreate a cherished memory by attending Adele's concert together.

Lastly, we see Nadia, a single mom, breaking society's rules to make a better life for herself and her son, Waleed. Nadia sees her love life in Adele's songs, and her son is also a big fan of Adele. They both decide to go to an Adele concert in Verona to find happiness and freedom.

Each chapter of the novel is named after Adele's album '25'. The characters' struggles in each chapter mirror Adele's songs used as headings, making the narrative touching and relatable. Through rhetorical questions and engaging dialogue, the characters express their innermost thoughts in the novel.

The authors explore various forms of love in real-life relationships. The first story explores forbidden love; the second delves into complicated connections and lost love; and the third highlights the bond between parents and children. Additionally, the collection delves into relationships between individuals with differing lifestyles and beliefs, serving as a reminder that true love often differs from the idealized tales we hear in childhood.

While the chapters are labeled with Adele songs, the inclusion of songs in the book can be a bit cheesy and weird at times. Additionally, the concurrent narration of three tales can be a bit troublesome, breaking the story's flow.

Despite this, the book is well-written, with no errors found. I highly recommend it to fans of romance and Adele's songs, and I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

Your review is honest and informative. I am not too familiar with Adele's songs, so I might struggle with the character references.

That's seems a heartwarming book that full of emotion. I didn't expect that from the cover its color seems a bit dark. Your review is refreshing and well expresses the book. Great review!

I’ve read several reviews of this book and never considered it a collection, but I guess it is. I’m not sure what I thought, but the stories are separate, aren’t they?? Thanks!

I guess without being familiar with Adele's songs, some of the deeper references may be lost to a reader. But overall, this book seems to emphasize the emotions of the characters under varying circumstances. It is intriguing how an artist and their creativity can reunite peoand help them rediscover themselves. A very well-written review, thank you.

I'm a huge fan of Adele and love this concept of using her album as a basis for a book. I hadn't heard of this book before, but thank you for bringing it to my attention. I'm adding it to my list now.

Thank you for your detailed review. This book is appealing to see the different types of love within different cultures explored. Tying the chapters to the songs in Adele's album is interesting, and I appreciate your honest perspective on the use of the song lyrics within the chapters.

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed this book. I enjoy some of Adele's music but wouldn't consider myself to be a big fan and think that I will pass on reading this book so that I can read something else I have a deeper interest in. Keep up the great work!
