Entanglement - Quantum and Otherwise by John K Danenbarger is a complicated story about the lives of Geena, Beth Sturgess, Joe Tink, Kevin Nuss, and Davis. There were other minor characters who were woven into the story, and they were all connected in some ways.

Geena was in her fifties when she found out that her father, Kevin Nuss, was dead. She found out through a letter that was sent to her by her friend, Joe Tink. Kevin was a complicated man. He was a detective, a man who was meant to uphold the law and catch criminals, but his violent nature made him quite an interesting man. Geena had cut ties with him at the point of his death. There was a valid reason why she wanted nothing to do with him, and his death meant nothing to her. The story then breaks down how Kevin Nuss met his demise. It also branches and tells the stories of all the other characters.

Davis was Kevin and Beth's adopted son. He was Geena's adoptive brother. I found that Davis and Kevin lived parallel lives. I think their stories were the most intriguing. Their stories kept me interested in reading. Also, Beth Sturgess had a fascinating life. Her trip to Bermuda was my favourite part of the story. How her life would be tied to Carl's in the future made it even better.

Keeping up with the characters was a huge challenge. Every chapter was devoted to each of the main characters, and that made it difficult to keep up with each character's story arc. Also, I couldn't keep up with the different years that the stories covered. It was too much, and it made my reading experience less enjoyable. I rate the novel 4 out of 5 stars because I didn't enjoy the structure of the story.

I recommend the story to people who enjoy drama novels. Although this novel could be described as a crime novel, I found the crime themes to be secondary to the drama that happened in the lives of the characters.
