I loved reading this book. Book is written in fluent language and is easy to follow. Reading it in the evenings is a nice way to de-wind after a stressful day. It is well written and story and easy to follow. Sandy Magner Created interesting characters and twisted story of love, crime and double family life. The title Toxic Side Effect is also genius. It tells you a lot about the story, and the only way to found that out is to read it. As a story evolves, Jennifer found out, that one person action has consequences and it impacts lots of characters in the book.
It would be nice to get a bit more background story of Jennifer Burns and make it more realistic. For example police officers do not take likely for civilians to intervene in police investigation and they wouldn’t engage with one to help solve the case.
I give the book 4 of 5 stars because I love the story, but it’s missing Jennifer’s background story and better explanation of relationship with her ex husband. It would be nice to know what she does for a living.
I recommend this book to anyone interested in mistery.
