Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon is a fast-paced thriller novel that takes readers on an electrifying journey through a post-apocalyptic landscape, blending romance and survival in a way that keeps you hooked from beginning to end.

Dorothy May Mercer's E M P Honeymoon primarily centres on a couple, Kelly and Tom Turbolo, who intend to spend their vacation in Honduras without a single hint of the kind of turn their "simple" vacation will take. During the vacation, the couple stumbles upon a group of terrorists with the aim of destroying Canada and the United States with an electromagnetic pulse. The couple must find a way to stop them while also staying alive. An unlikely crew joins the couple "Kelly and Tom" in this seemingly difficult task.

One of the numerous reasons I liked the book was because the author used the various perspectives of the characters to tell her story. That was pretty genius and added more depth to the plot. Also, I liked the suspense in the book; it kept me pretty hooked. I also liked the book because it covered some aspects of real-life high-tech topics, of which I am a big fan.

One of my dislikes about the book was its pace; due to its fast-paced nature, some of its more subtle details might be lost on some readers. I also disliked the book because, at some point, I found it difficult to keep up with the plot because of the sometimes abrupt switches between perspectives.

Overall, I'd rate Dorothy May Mercer's "E M P Honeymoon" 4 out of 5 stars. I deducted 1 star because of the dislikes I pointed out in the previous paragraph. The book was flawlessly edited.

I'd recommend this book to both young adults and adults who are both fans of science fiction and romance novels and may be looking for a quick read.
