Dorothy May Mercer's "E M P Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom" unfolds as Tom and Kelly leave on their Honduran honeymoon. During an innocent exploration, Kelly discovers a covert terrorist plot. A race against time ensues when she connects with her detective husband and US Senator brother. International terrorists are plotting a one-of-a-kind electromagnetic pulse attack on North America's power grid. They work along with agents Sharon, Agatha, and covert CIA operative Steve Spalding to stop the disaster. A compelling story of danger, action, and resilience as a honeymoon turns into a high-stakes quest to avert a tragedy and protect the nation's core.

This book drew me in with its riveting "E M P Honeymoon: Kelly an Tom" because the adrenaline-fueled action had me teetering on the edge of my seat. My pulse raced as Kelly eluded the attackers' hands, leaving me eager to discover the next dramatic twist. The inclusion of a US Senator and an undercover CIA employee adds a seductive dimension to political intrigue, expertly revealing the rich fabric of government and security activities. This gripping combination of heart-pounding action and captivating political dynamics kept me completely engrossed throughout the voyage.

Although I found this book to be incredibly engaging, I couldn't help but detect a little flaw. The work occasionally relied on typical plot elements, such as a timely savior rescuing the protagonist. When Kelly's spouse emerged out of nowhere in the face of escalating danger, the element of surprise faded, bordering on cliché. Despite this, the general charm and mystery of the plot kept my interest throughout.

"E M P Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom" gets a good 4 out of 5 stars from me. The fascinating book was made possible by the heart-pounding action and interesting political intrigue. The occasional predictability of plot parts, though, caused me to reduce it to one star. Nonetheless, for those who crave a captivating blend of adrenaline-fueled sequences and intricate government dynamics, I wholeheartedly recommend delving into this engaging tale. This book was exceptionally edited.
