“Twisted Threads” is a thrilling and captivating psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It’s the fourth book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. The story follows Akira Hamada, a beautiful Japanese geisha who failed in her attempt to kill Kaito Mitsui, the yakuza gang leader who destroyed her lover and forced her to become an assassin. Now, with her own life at stake, Akira must complete her assignment and identify her target within ten days while on a Caribbean cruise ship.

The novel is an adult erotic thriller that explores the complex dynamics of power, revenge, and sexuality. The author does an excellent job of creating a vivid and immersive world that draws readers in and keeps them engaged throughout the story. The characters are well-developed and complex, and their motivations and actions are believable and relatable.

My rating for this book would be 4/5. One of the strengths of this book is the way in which it explores the psychological effects of trauma and abuse. Akira's journey towards healing is inspiring, and her ability to find strength and resilience in the face of adversity is truly remarkable. The author also does an excellent job of exploring the themes of power and control, and how they can be used to manipulate and exploit others.

The author also does an excellent job of exploring the complexities of sexuality and sexual desire, and how they can be used to both empower and disempower individuals.
