Fantasy Realms Coloring Book contains adorable illustrations of gnome houses that tickled my fancy. The cute and whimsical designs provide an enjoyable coloring experience, although there are a few drawbacks to the illustration and format.
The highlight of this coloring book is its intricate details and delightful little houses. There is a decent amount of variety in the art styles and types of little gnome houses. However, using markers may lead to bleed-through onto the quote pages at the back. This was quite disappointing, as it diminished the aesthetic appeal of the quotes and affected the overall presentation of the finished artwork. Marker users; put a sheet of plastic, like a folder, between the pages while coloring to keep the bleedthrough from the next coloring page. Might be more suitable for colored pencils and gel pens. As a marker user primarily, this was a drawback for me.

Since the illustrations are single-sided pages, with quotes on the back it simplifies displaying of finished artwork without sacrificing it's page mate. The inclusion of inspiring quotes is a nice touch, even though they may become covered in bleed-through colors when using markers. The quotes are also unattributed and slightly general.

In conclusion, the Gnome Home Coloring Book offers a whimsical coloring experience, though the bleed-through issue with markers and the impact on the quotes should be noted. Its intricate designs and charming illustrations provide ample opportunities for creativity and relaxation. Although it may have a few drawbacks, it remains forgiving for those who enjoy mindless coloring during other tasks. Overall, this coloring book holds the potential for many delightful moments of artistic expression and imaginative exploration, which is why I rate it 3 out of 5. I will definitely use this coloring book as place to play with my blending techniques, and might even try watercolor on top of the pages.
