I thought the writing style was very captivating and drew me in. The read felt personal and showed the progression of wanting to succeed and do better by his own standards as well as societies. He acknowledges his own flaws and you get to see him develop and grow throughout the read. It gives you someone to connect with and make decisions on what you like and don't like about his story. The book gives you direction on where to go with your own struggles. The book strikes me a way to help your persev persevere your own storms or worse.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a hard hitting motivational guide to tell you his story. I think its a 4 out of 5 to me and it did a great job keeping me reading page to page. I feel like I picked up some new things from the read and at the en of the day that's what I'd want from a book so it's a success to me.
