Review of E M P Honeymoon

Some memories are meant to be cherished, and that's precisely why the newly married couple, Kelly McBride and Sgt. Tom Turbulo embarked on a memorable honeymoon in E M P Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom, written by Dorothy May Mercer, seeking to etch their love in the sands of time.
Kelly and Tom revel in the joy of their newfound union. Kelly, with her adventurous spirit, decides to explore the local treasures. Intrigued by a quaint store named "The Pigsty," Kelly enters with the intention of finding treasures for her loved ones back home. Unaware of the sinister secret harbored within its walls, Kelly unwittingly stumbles upon a diabolical plot. She finds herself entangled in the middle of a powerful terrorist organization, set on unleashing an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) explosion to bring destruction upon North America. The once serene honeymoon transforms into a heart-pumping investigation as they join forces with Senator Mike McBride's team to thwart the impending catastrophe. Alongside the brave undercover CIA agent, the newlywed couple race against time to unravel the dark secrets lurking beneath the tranquil facade of the island. Amidst perilous paths, Kelly and Tom's unwavering love and strength ignite a profound question: How far would you truly go to safeguard loved ones and protect the nation?
I appreciate the high-stakes premise that turns a honeymoon into a battle for survival and the country's fate, creating an intense and gripping storyline that hooked me. I love how the author skillfully integrates scientific phenomena like electromagnetic pulses (EMPs), adding an intriguing layer to the narrative and providing educational elements. Another thing I like is the seamless blend of romance and action, which adds depth to the characters' relationships and provides moments of respite amidst the thrilling events. Furthermore, I appreciate the absence of grammatical errors or mistakes in the writing, showcasing the novel's exceptional editing and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable reading experience.
The weak dialogue that often feels forced and unrealistic is one of the things I like least about this novel, making it challenging for me to connect with the characters and believe in their interactions. Another aspect that leaves me dissatisfied is the way the author concluded the plot. The resolution feels weak and unsatisfying, leaving me wanting a proper resolution to the story. These elements detract from my overall enjoyment of the novel and hinder my ability to fully engage with the narrative. For these reasons, I deduct one star from my rating of this novel. I give this lovely novel a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
This gripping novel is filled with thrilling action scenes and an exceptionally well-edited plot that will keep readers highly entertained. I recommend this novel to fans of action-packed novels with elements of romance and terrorism.
