Dr. Ghoulem Berrah speaks about his prior experiences as a young kid in Algeria during the French colonial era in his book, A Dream for Peace. He talks about his upbringing as a Muslim and how he ultimately found the will to fight for Algeria's independence from France. One of his difficult experiences was losing his mother when he was a college student after losing his father when he was a small child. Later on, he became quite educated and even had the opportunity to work directly for an African president. Additionally, he participated in other diplomatic missions. After failing in his first two marriages, he later wed Titi, the love of his life, and remained at her side till the end. This book examines the fight for independence and liberation from colonizers by several African countries. It also discusses the conflicts and overthrows that occurred in several African nations both before and after independence. It also addresses problems like xenophobia, racism, and apartheid, among others. Read this fascinating book to learn more about the life and history of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah.

I like this book since it reveals many fascinating facts about the African continent. Additionally, it instructs readers on a wide range of topics related to politics, diplomacy, the pre and post-colonial eras, conflicts, and Africa as a whole. The author also wrote extensively on the several topics he raised that the readers would find intriguing. The author strengthened his narrative by including illustrations and supporting documentation. The book leans more on explanation and instruction. Moreover, the editing was superb.

The only aspect of the book that bothered me was that it seemed as if the author wrote extensively on a number of themes, making it overly lengthy and rather tedious for the typical reader. He sometimes used a large number of intricate terms that would be too challenging for the reader to understand.

I'll give this outstanding book a score of 5 out of 5 stars. Due to the photographs that were included to support the author's claims, it is an engrossing one and of utmost value. I would have taken away a star for the reasons I listed in the preceding sentence, which include writing on numerous subjects for an excessively long time and, as a result, boring the reader somewhat, but I don't think those reasons are sufficient to justify the loss of a star. Also this book was professionally edited i Could not find any errors while reading.

I advise anyone with an interest in politics and African history, in particular, to read this book. It will open their eyes and they will find it to be highly educational.
