I enjoyed reading this book about explaining what heaven is like for kids.
We all have a different impression of what heaven is supposed to be like and look like. I for one am very curious.
The questions that were raised were very good. When Emma talks about who they saw they only mention Jesus, God, Queen Ester, Noah and the angels. They had many of the same questions that I did but some were missing.
Did they see relatives? Did they see pets of theirs that had died? Could they look down on earth and see us and what we are doing?
The illustrations were nice but somewhat inconsistent.
I liked that there were footnotes with the exact place the information is found in the Bible.
I think that they could have given more of an explanation about the devil before that part came up. It is a scary topic for everyone and especially children. So it was sudden.
It is somewhat unrealistic that the girl would have the same dream night after night.
In general I think that books on this topic are important. The topic is hard to handle and they did a nice job.
I would give this book a 4 out of 5.
