Is there still humanity in your heart? Can you empathize with your fellow humans? Do you know anything about Kashmir? Are you interested to learn more about what happened in Kashmir? Do you believe women can play a crucial role in life? If any of these questions resonate with you, then the book Secrets of the Kashmir Valley by Farhana Qazi is for you.

The central theme of this book is the conflicts in Kashmir. Kashmir is a valley situated between two conflicted nations, Pakistan and India. Its location makes it a land contested by both sides, making it their battlefield. Kashmir has suffered through six decades of war. Despite that, the Kashmiris continue their living while striving for freedom. Farhana Qazi brought us to explore the secret of this valley through the stories of men and women. She also tells her life story that motivates her to start this journey. She will tell the stories she found out in her journey from her point of view. Be ready for some storytelling.

Thank you, Farhana Qazi, for writing this book. I appreciate her efforts in writing this book. Thank you for sharing these stories. I like reading this book, as it feels like a novel, except these stories are real. The contents make me sympathize with the Kashmiris. It's horrible what happened to them. I like how despite what happened, they did not give up. I also like the map illustration. The map is helpful to help the readers see Kashmir's position. I find the way Farhana Qazi describes Kashmir fascinating. She introduced it with details like making a world-building which helps readers imagine the place. I also like how she presents the stories in the book. It feels like the person involved in the event personally narrates their stories to me face-to-face. This book also highlights the roles of women in the time of conflict, which I found inspiring.

There is nothing I dislike about the book. Thus, making it one of the best books I have ever read. It's impossible to hate.

This book is not exceptionally well-edited, as I did find some mistakes. This book has simple language, clean formatting, exciting stories, good presentation, and good storytelling. I like this book so much, and I didn't find anything that would decrease my love for it. It's easy on the eyes and pleasant to read. There are plenty of positive things about this book, marred by only a few mistakes. Even so, there's no reason to make any deduction on the rating. The errors found are insufficient to make any deduction. For these reasons, I am happy to give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to mature readers, especially women. This book concentrates on the power of women. So it will resonate well with them. This book is suitable for those with Kashmiris ancestry. This book will show them the current reality of their ancestral land. I recommend this book to religious people, especially Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs. It is good to be aware of what the people of your faith suffered in Kashmir. This book shows the horror of war and its effect on the people. This book will inspire us to defend our peace. I also recommend this book to those interested in history.
