Wanderer, global traveler and a seriously committed gourmand, author Eytan Uliel, in his book Man Mission : Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey, plunges us in a fast-moving, captivating story of travel exploration, friendship, growth and motivation where four friends travel in fun and adventure, while trying to find a purpose in life.

The Man Mission team comprises the four men, the author and his three friends Daniel, Sam and Alec. We see this team of old friends in this pseudo travelogue out in extraordinary excursions, exploring how to become real men. They travel to countries like South Korea, New Zealand and South Africa, participating in activities such as hiking, kayaking, and other thrilling activities. Taking on an yearly expedition for fifteen years around the world, they fall into numerous perilous situations like dealing with drug dealers in far flung jungles of New Zealand or even facing wild creatures in South Africa.

What I really liked about the book, is how the author Eytan, superbly captures the beauties of all of the countries they visit in their adventures while also listing the pros and cons in their jam-packed, thrilling adventures. Interesting, genuine and easy to follow, Eytan's writing style successfully engrosses the reader in his vivid descriptions of his personal experiences. Alternating between travel stories and personal tales, Eytan captivates your mind taking you in his wondrous and adrenaline filled trips, while also acquainting you with life struggles dealing with family and career, that come with adulthood and growing responsibilities. The book is also an excellent source to learn about different cultures of different places and their people.

I will rate Man Mission, four out of five stars due to its thrilling and humourous story telling with perfectly gliding through themes of joy, fear, loss, hope, adventure and friendship. This book is apparently professionally edited.

This adventure fiction is recommended to everyone, who loves reading an occasional travelogue, and even to young adults.
