We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a great piece. This book follows the journey of Galen, a young refugee coming from the most seriously war-torn place on earth, The Land of Princes. Galen is grateful for the opportunity and determined to make the most of his new life. Galen is grateful for the opportunity and determined to make the most of his new life. You meet kings and lords, witness an attack on a town and the murder of its lord, and find out that there is magic in this world. And there is another world, which this one is mysteriously connected to in some way. The evil wizard is patiently awaiting the arrival of his new arrival. On the other side of the empire, the fierce dancing rebels of Riva Rohavi await their opportunity to slaughter the citizens of Voulhire. They have grown to despise the people of Voulhire. Galen, who is gullible, peaceful, and good-natured, has no idea. There are several other subplots introduced throughout the book. You meet kings and lords, witness an attack on a town and the murder of its lord, and find out that there is magic in this world. And there is another world, which this one is mysteriously connected to in some way.

The events in this novel, which are set on the fictitious island of Voulhire, are seen through the perspectives of a variety of different Voulhire residents, most of whom belong to the island's higher caste. This book’s main purpose lies in introducing the imaginary world of Voulhire and its inhabitants to its readers. While people in the higher caste are all too familiar with the history, traditions, and happenings in Voulhire, Galen Bray is not. Parts of the novel are also recounted from Galen Bray's perspective, a newcomer to Voulhire. The reader is continuously given new information about Voulhire's history, customs, historical mysteries, and mystical powers throughout the course of the narrative. It is a well-known truth that the creation of an outstanding fantasy novel can be tricky. Writing a good story just isn’t enough! On the contrary, the author still has to create the whole fantasy world to match the story. However, in this case, I discovered my worries to be unnecessary. The author proved to be equipped with a noticeable amount of imagination, and the characters he had created were loveable, horrifying, and invidious, just to mention a few examples.

High fantasy always requires a lot of detail to introduce a new word. This book does that in an engaging way. This book does not have the traditional chapters we are used to seeing in most books. Instead, it was divided into sections resembling the names of the characters. The structure of the book was clear and well thought out, and the story development was skillfully organized. This great piece is filled with action, suspense, drama, and mystery. The book, which is the first in the series, established a strong foundation for the succeeding works. What I admire most about this piece is the style of prose the author used. It has a sort of comforting cadence to it, like you are floating on ocean waves, which is fitting as the story starts on a boat and goes on to include many coastal cities. The words chosen are not contrived to match a specific rhythm but rather flow along naturally while you are transported into this new world.

There are some positive aspects of this book that made me enjoy reading it. First, the book's inclusion of several viewpoints pleased me. The characters had a lot of depth. I enjoyed that the supporting characters had substantial roles to play in the story. Galen had a likable personality, as he was very modest and thoughtful. Rowan's character was entertaining, and Lord Aldus is another person I appreciate because he epitomizes what a good leader ought to be. What I dislike about the book is the cover, as it fails to represent the book as beautifully as it reads. Besides that, the book was simple to grasp and follow. Also, the book's detailing was excellent, and the author did a great job on it.

I would recommend this book to adults who enjoy fiction, suspense, fantasy, action, and thrillers. The book does contain multiple instances of swearing and some other adult references, so it is not appropriate for children. I would like to mention that this book was exceptionally well edited, as I did not encounter any errors while reading it. I am pleased to rate We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies 5 out of 5 stars. I am convinced of Matthew Tysz’s skills as a writer and expect the next parts of the We Are Voulhire series to be even more satisfying.  I look forward to opening the next book. I believe this to be the greatest compliment a sophisticated reader can deliver to any author

Galen decided to make something good of himself, however, he found out that what he imagined was different from what he saw. He witnessed magic, murder, and wars among kings and lords as well as people. Hope he made good of his new life.

Your description of the world-building and character development in this book has definitely piqued my interest. I'm always impressed by authors who can create complex and realistic fantasy worlds, and it sounds like Tysz has done a fantastic job in that regard.
