Pets are wonderful creatures, especially dogs and cats. It's amazing how a dog or a cat could offer endless love and loyalty in exchange for food and shelter. Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula, written by R.F. Kristi, revolves around cats, dogs, cheese, family, friends, and more cheese.

Missy has created a new cheese recipe that has caught international attention. She gets invited to display her cheese at a culinary competition on the Korean Peninsula. She would also be a judge at this event. Enzo is also invited to this event and is looking to ruin the trip for Missy. What plan has he got up his sleeve? Missy's tour guide Ye-jun longs to reunite with his sister Ji, who is on the other side of the border. It is up to Inca, Fromage, Cara, and all the other pets in the Inca Cat Detective Agency to make this dream of Ye-jun's a reality.

This book had a lot to like about it. I was fascinated by the beginning pages. The author didn't just write a storybook but an educational book; she spared no opportunity to educate the reader on different topics. I was introduced to a Siberian tiger at the start of the book and gradually learned about the Korean Peninsula. This book is meant to entertain, but I learned a lot. Ye Jun's reunion with his sibling Ji is my favorite part of the book. I was emotional about this because it must have been sad to be away from your loved one for a long time.

This book had no negative aspects; everything about it was on point. I have no regrets about reading this book. It's something that I would read again in my spare time. Pets are valuable creatures, and this book has proved it.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. There were no negative things about it, so a perfect rating is what it deserves. I found no errors in this book; it was properly edited. I recommend this book to children and adults who want to revel in the colorful world of the Korean peninsula.
