Review of Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress
One might have to deal with anxiety and stress at a point in their lives because it is almost inevitable as long as any human lives. Gustavo Kinrys, MD, gives an introduction into what anxiety is all about before delving into other aspects of anxiety. What are these other aspects? Are you curious to know more about anxiety and stress? Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress is the book for you.
The way the author broke down each topic in her book is a major aspect of the book that I love. After thoroughly explaining what anxiety is, he lists the possible symptoms of anxiety that are likely to manifest in an anxious or stressed individual. Anxiety is closely associated with stress. I learned from this book that many factors cause stress in life and that they can create anxiety in someone. Luckily, the writer does not leave anyone who has already been notified of the factors that cause stress in the lurch. He does well to provide the methods of treating anxiety and how to completely overcome it without its symptoms resurfacing.
One part that really got to me was the part where the different types of anxiety disorders were illustrated. As someone who has experienced major anxiety crises twice, reading this aspect of the illustration brought back memories. It was not all nice reading about it because some of the descriptions triggered emotions in me, but the positive side to it, which I am glad about, is that it will help inform other readers who are yet to experience such disorders about how to manage them if one of the disorders inevitably creeps up on them. I never had proper and in-depth knowledge of them before now, even though I have experienced them, but I am glad I do now.
This book also teaches about the use of drugs to relieve stress and anxiety.
There are drugs that will relieve the patient, temporarily, of anxiety symptoms, and there are drugs that do a thorough job of completely curing the anxiety. Drugs for anxiety and stress could also be in herbal form. Most of the herbal drugs tend to sedate the consumers. The herbal drugs can also cure insomnia, which is one of the symptoms of anxiety and stress. For instance, valerian root was a herbal plant used by the Greeks and Romans and, to date, is still effective.
Other remedies and treatments, such as virtual reality therapy, diet monitoring, mental exercises, and breathing techniques to be used when one is suffering from panic attacks, were explained in this book.
Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress is a book that is simple to understand. It was written in simple and clear language.
I loved everything about this book and disliked nothing about it.
I appreciate the fact that it was given a thorough editorial job, earning it a five out of five stars rating.
I recommend this book by Gustavo Kinrys, MD, to every adult because, at different points in our lives, we undergo stress and anxiety.
