One night can change everything, one selfless act brought Allen Shandi and Melanie (Mel) Foster together in ways that they could have never predicted. Their journey is one of friendship, love, family and heartbreak. Allen, a man of the fashion world and Mel, a night cleaner in New York City. Though coming from different backgrounds they build a connection and bond that shows that us the epitome of the human spirit. Love, pregnancy and heartbreak was easy to navigate, but can their bond survive the an enemy they cannot fight.

Love all the Way by Aurora Carafa is a beautiful book that shows the complexities and diversity of the human nature. We gain an understanding that through the emotions and thoughts of the main characters and minor characters that we are capable of building the best of ourselves and the worst. It shows us through our thoughts and actions that we are capable of love, friendship and forgiveness. The things that I find inspiring in the novel is the portrayal of polygamy and how relationships can work in non conventional ways. Something that warms my heart is the way the author embraces the LGBTQ+ community and the struggles and victories that they had to overcome. It shows that being different doesn't necessarily mean wrong or depraved but it can mean beauty and kindness.

I disliked some parts of the book because even though we are shown that human kind is capable of understanding and maturity, the co-dependence between Allen and Mel can be seen as a little toxic and selfish. Throughout the novel we can feel the love and friendship between the two characters but it shows that love can sometimes be selfish and self serving. The other thing that I dislike about the novel is that throughout the pregnancy, Mel indulged in wine and cigarettes even though it wasn't in excess and I knew she had immense love for the baby, the safety of the infant was constantly on my mind.

I read a few errors and I could see that is wasn't professionally edited. Even though I have seen errors it was a gripping tale that embodied the beautiful nature of people and it gives you hope and I'll rate it 3 out of 5 stars because it opens our mind to many different emotions, scenarios and circumstances.

I recommend this book to people who enjoy reading romance and books that include the LGBTQ+ community. The book also has triggering subjects like physical abuse.
