Cynthia and Dan is a work of fiction and romance that was written by Dorothy May Mercer. The book has 235 pages, and it is divided into twenty-five chapters with specific titles that give the reader an idea of what each chapter entails. This book starts with a private discussion between Cynthia Patterson, and her brother, Glenn Patterson. Glenn Patterson is a private investigator who is willing to end every form of terrorism and stay ahead of the bad guys. During the deliberation with his sister, they cautiously think of the people that they can recruit to work with them. Cynthia's goal is to wage a cyber-war against terrorism, and she goes on to recruit a geeky nerd, Tim, who knows his way around technology. Amid all of the terrorism drama, a mysterious drone was found on the White House lawn, and the authorities believe that the perpetrators are after the life of the President of the United States of America. Meanwhile, Cynthia has a boyfriend, Dan McIntyre, and he is a police officer. At some point, Cynthia breaks up with him because of his attitude. How does the story end? Did Cynthia and her brother win the cyber-war against terrorism?

Cynthia and Dan by Dorothy May Mercer is a suspense-filled book that revolves around crime, terrorism, love, and friendship. The plot of the book is intriguing, and I love the storyline. The author did a good job of using simple and relatable words to describe the characters' emotions, actions, and environment. I love the author's writing style.

My favourite character in this book is Cynthia Patterson. I love her commitment to work, and I appreciate the fact that she is passionate about love and responsibility. The characterization of the story is beautiful, and I love how the story ended.

I enjoyed reading this book, and I learned a few lessons from the characters in this book. I learned that commitment is necessary for every relationship as it will help the partners to be more passionate. Overall, this book is a wonderful story that was uniquely written. The positive aspect that I noticed while reading this book revolved around the author's dexterity.

I did not notice any negative aspects while reading this book. The rate of profane words is low, and I did not have any problem with the sentence structure while reading.

Cynthia and Dan was well written. This book was exceptionally edited, and I did not notice any grammatical or spelling errors while reading this book.

Terrorism is a global menace that is affecting places with varying intensity, and it is always necessary to bring the perpetrators down because if they are not stopped, more lives will be lost. This book paints a picture of the one way through which government authorities can fight terrorism, and I will recommend this book to lovers of fiction and suspense. Therefore, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars due to the few points mentioned above and because of the author's perspective.
