Endgame is a work by the author William Reed that reveals the flaws in how a once-civilized civilization may harbour its enemies, ultimately leading to its downfall. In the novels, a society where religion and tribalism may divide certain people is shown as being rather detrimental to human survival. A small percentage of these people then turn "woke" and "extreme," using terrorism to communicate with innocent bystanders.

In London, Nat Jameson reports directly to Jim Preston, the American Ambassador. He is a content guy who lives in a house that any other man would aspire to have: a wonderful wife, two children, a well-paying job, and a great apartment. But sooner than he had anticipated, all of his plans will be derailed when Nat has an unexpectedly good or bad idea one morning. The US Ambassador, Vice President, and President of the United States of America, together with a select group of other senior officials, would be involved in this plan. The end goal would be for Nat to meet with the senior officials of the well-known terrorist organization al-Qaeda, whose supreme leader they assume to be in charge of a nation's regional mosques. To win the trust of this Islamist gang, Nat would do things like depose the American Ambassador and plan the murder of the Vice President. Also, Nat would have to fight his mother's illness while keeping this from his family. So, would this strategy result in Nat's demise, or would it be the solution to permanently put a stop to Western terrorism?

I like how this book's prologue sets up the reader for an amazing thriller by generating expectations and a sense of intrigue. I applaud the author for it since it would have required a great deal of investigation and intelligence from the appropriate source to create such a magnificent narrative. The author did a good job of laying the groundwork for the reader's imagination and also connecting the reader's emotions to the same locations. This novel allows readers to empathize with particular characters and sometimes the entire plot. The characters were likewise designed to behave in a cold, emotionless manner, untouched by the events taking place around them, making them feel real.

I disliked nothing about this book.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars for the reasons stated above. The book was exceptionally well-edited and error-free. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in politics, political terrorism, or thrillers.
