Review of JTs World
This four hundred and eighty-three page novel is the last among E. Alan Fleischauer's western series. JT's World, as the name suggests, is about John Thurgood Thomas. One wealthy and generous man. JT has just lost his dear wife Annabelle and is left to take care of Madeline, Annabelle's daughter. During the grand opening of his new complex, JT's World, some unfortunate events took place that made him depressed. He then decided to make himself busy with checking his other businesses away from the complex. This decision comes after some persuasion from Madeline, who will be overseeing the completion of the complex in his absence. JT thought he would get peace by moving away. But to his surprise, he witnessed more dramatic scenes on his journey. This did not deter him from going on with his plans. The mood of the book remained relaxed Despite the good amount of chaos it had. Each of the thirty-six chapters had a story of its own, though their structuring was almost similar. The setting was that of a desert, mostly with ranches. Mr. Alan's description of the place was to the very detail, and I could almost picture the place while reading.
I will mention just a few positive aspects of this great book, though there are many. To start with, I enjoyed the building of characters by Mr. Alan. The characters were unique and had strong characteristics. There are many beautiful women in the book, but one, Jessica Tillman, is talked about the most. I am sure you would like to know who she is and what she did to get the attention. The vocabulary used matched with the setting seamlessly, making the storyline more realistic. Mr. Alan's writing style was fascinating. He kept going back and forth with stories, creating suspense. My expectations for the book were met and surpassed. I have read a financial book by the author and I can comfortably say his work is commendable. I definitely will read the rest of this series.
The book was enjoyable, and I found nothing negative to say about it.
Going through it, I found no errors. It was well edited. I was also impressed with the storyline. I therefore rate JT's World five out of five stars.
The book touched on topics such as alcoholism, murder, robbery, rape and many other vices, which would make it suitable for a mature audience. Gun enthusiasts will be thoroughly entertained since most scenes have gun fights. There are enough romantic scenes for romance lovers as well. I learned a few things about westerners culture, like their dressing code, food preparation, matters to do with horses, among others that readers will enjoy reading about too.
