Where there is peace, development, security, economic stability, and justice are enabled. Some parts of our world have become war zones, claiming the lives of many, displacing millions of people, and destroying property—these are the consequences of a lack of peace. A Dream for Peace: An Ambassador Memoir talks about the life, ideology, and achievements of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, a man filled with so much inspiration. His pursuit of peace and unity in society is admirable.

This memoir follows the author's life story as an Algerian liberation warrior. He had a lot of regard for people who did not share the same religion. Dr. Berrah sacrificed himself to bring about peace. He traveled to France to better his studies, but he also had the important goal of bringing independence to his nation on his mind. Algeria was still under French colonial control at this time. The book details the results and difficulties he faces in his quest for freedom. It also illustrates the highs and lows he had in his love life. How did he achieve all these? Find out by reading this book.

I could say that I enjoyed every bit of this book, A Dream for Peace: An Ambassador Memoir; I was satisfied with every piece of content. The author used plain English to communicate his ideas, which helped me understand the book better. His remarkable and detailed writing abilities are another aspect I so much appreciate. Berrah described his experience in a way that makes the reader curious about what happens next. Several photos have been inserted into the pages to help comprehend his ideas. For instance, to show his love and faith in youngsters, the author posted a photo of himself at a daycare center. Another thing I liked is the attachment of titles to each chapter, which gives you an insight into the chapter.

Dr. Berrah’s personality is another aspect that cannot be overlooked. He lived a selfless life. His life is an inspiration. Reading the book made me feel limitless. His exceptional academic accomplishments would inspire anyone to strive even harder. His incredible neutrality toward all religions is simply one quality of the book that I adored. Dr. Berrah did not hesitate to converse with members of other religious communities or even go to church, as he was a Muslim. I believe the world would be a better place if we could all be more accommodating like him.

I was satisfied with all aspects of this book except that I found three grammatical errors while reading it, which proves that it was professionally edited. I will give this book a rating of 4 out of 5 stars just because of the errors found. This book is inspirational; I will encourage youths, adults, parents, and even teachers to read it.

I enjoyed reading this book and your review. Although the language seemed advanced, the book held so much content. Content on marriage and family ties.
