Review of E M P Honeymoon
[Following is a volunteer review of "E M P Honeymoon" by Dorothy May Mercer.]
Life is going on as it always has on the North American continent. The people did not know the drama that was happening behind your backs. They had no idea that Tom and Kerry were fighting bad guys who wanted to wipe them off the face of the planet. These people did not know there was an EMP directly over them (in space). They had no idea it was awaiting instructions to shoot its deadly rays their way. It was up to a team made up of Tom, Kerry, two security officers, and an FBI agent to save all of North America. Dorothy May Mercer is an indie author who has published over a dozen books that have done well over the years. She added E M P Honeymoon to flex her literary muscles and show the world that she deserves the praises many have showered on her. This book focuses on how much a well-organized terrorist group can destroy a civilization. It was beautiful. What made it so was that Dorothy May Mercer did not just tell us the story of an EMP making its way to North America. She showed us. You may be wondering how she managed to do that. She did that through the vivid description she gave. That was a major reason I liked this book so much. In fact, that was what I liked best in E M P Honeymoon.
Another thing I liked so much in E M P Honeymoon is the gist Dorothy May Mercer gave me about what happened in the terrorists' camp when the protagonists were trying to fight them. Let me say that I was surprised to see the things that happened in the enemy's camp. I could not believe how much I failed in my prediction of what the evil mastermind looked and acted like. This means that the events in the story were very unpredictable. I liked that a lot about the book.
I looked for something to criticize about E M P Honeymoon, but I could find nothing. What does this mean? I am trying to say that it was perfect through and through. I have nothing negative to say about it. I did not dislike anything about this book. It was edited exceptionally. It was written beautifully, and its story was incredible. If I keep praising the book, this review will be lengthy. Let me stop here by saying that I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
If you want a thrilling novel about terrorism aimed at the USA, I believe that E M P Honeymoon is the best book. I recommend it to you if you fall into the category above. Its carefully written plot will keep you captivated until the end of the story. It is a book that its readers cannot and will not forget so soon after reading it.
