While reading this ideological book I found myself comparing it to other books following the principles asking readers to Stop and participate in your own life.
The term "Sheeple" or "Enlightened" comes to mind.
Books like "Enders Game" and many of that series strike hard into the idealism of "Sheeple".
I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would.
I am looking forward to "#Lonelyness: The virus of the modern age".
In the 1950's Americans where horrified to find that agency's both Foreign and domestic had no oversight into the information that was gathered and stored on all of people of the country.
In today's 21st century world it is common place to agree to terms of service without ever reading them.
The fears of the last century have been whittled away to the lazy acceptance of "going with the flow".
Technology reports back all we do on or around our normal life... from closed circuit cameras(CCtv), satellite location to the social media information. The information goes to consumer information gathering servers. The ability to remain anonymous in our culture is nearly gone. "Going off grid" is much the same as the writer has named "blanks" within the system this leaves the feeling of demeaning or undermining the Self.
The Rating of 5 out of 5 is based on my own searching for answers to my own questions of Self being perked.
