Everyone must have heard this quote, “Do something today that your future self will thank you for.” Well, how about planning your finances and investing in a safe and secure life for which not only you but also your loved ones will thank you for? If you guys resonate with the terms like money management, investments, life insurance, etc., then the book that I am going to speak about is just for you.

Reconfigurement is a thought-provoking novel written by E. Alan Fleischauer. The book touches upon the most important topics of life such as planning your retirement, assessing your career, managing and investing your money wisely and last but definitely not the least, life insurance. Personally, I have read a lot of books emphasizing on money management to eternity but I have never come across a book which highlighted the importance of investing in life insurance until now. Kudos to the author for taking up the topic.

Every topic mentioned in the book is explained in detail and the words used are also simple and easy to understand. Every strategy seemed well researched to me. It really shows how much hard work and experience went into the book and I couldn’t thank Alan for writing a book with such diverse topics that most people tend to ignore while speaking of finance. To be honest, I am going to recommend this one to my friends as well.

The writing style of the author is quite impressive. I liked how he added the short stories and a little bit of humor while explaining the topics. I must say the book was so thought-provoking that I could not put it down. The book is professionally edited because I did not find any typos or grammatical mistakes while reading. I did not find anything that I disliked.

Due to the above-mentioned reasons, I gladly give this book 5 out of 5 stars. It is a must read and I got to learn a lot about money and the importance of managing it to have a secure future. I strongly recommend it to youngsters who have recently started earning their own money because I believe the sooner you start planning finances the better. Having said that, people of any age group can read this book as it is suitable for all.

Finally, I would like to summarize this review with a wonderful quote that I read somewhere. It says that financial planning is more than numbers. It’s a life plan.
